Amish people live very simple lifestyles. They live in Rural areas, and refuse to se modern technology. They also wear very simple clothing, normally black.

The Amish population is apporiximately 180,000. The population is about doubling every Twenty years because the families are so large, at seven children per family. The Christian population overall is about 1.8 Billion.

Amish are very simple. The Amish faith dictates that they place the community before themselves and keep a distance from the outside world. Which means often avoiding the use of technology — such as electricity and automobile ownership, to do so.

Currently, most Amish reside in northeastern, eastern, and northern Ohio. They live in the very rural areas of Ohio, normally not close to large towns.

The afterlife for the amish is that one lives after death. Eternally. They will be punished in Hell, or treated to Heaven.

The Amish believe that Satin exists to disrupt our religious functioning.

The main Amish prophet is Jesus. They believe in the Trinity, the the virgin birth, incarnation, the sinless life, crucification, resurrection ascension, and atonement of Jesus.

The split between Amish and Catholic is mainly the belief of usage of the modern world. Catholics have no restricitons towards technology.

Amish People celebrate Christmas, or the birth of Jesus in late December. They also celebrate Easter which is for the belief that Jesus came back to life after death. They pass cards for each holiday, and celebrate them simply.

Catholiscism is a very populated branch of christianity. Roman Catholics follow the Catholic church at the Vatican, in Vatican City.

Roman Catholics believe that god is eternal. They believe that he is not a being. They believe that he is all knowing, and he is bodiless.

Roman catholics live by the path of The Ten Commandments. The ten Commandments are:

2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
13 Thou shalt not kill.
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
15 Thou shalt not steal.
16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

These are translated from hebrew, therefore they cannot be worded evenly.

Roman Catholics' prophet is Jesus. They believe in his virgin birth, sinless life, and crucification.

Heaven is the reward of deeds for catholics.

Most Roman Catholics are in Mexico, and the United States.

49 percent of Catholics are in North America.

There are about 750 million Roman Catholics in the world.

Roman catholic and Amish sects are very similar. The basic beliefs are very close to each other.
